Our Mexican Hot Chocolate Cake takes its inspiration from the rich, comforting character of Mexican hot chocolate, combining deep chocolate flavour with cinnamon and a subtle chilli warmth.

Layers of rich chocolate sponge are paired with a smooth cinnamon cream-cheese filling and light vanilla meringue frosting, then finished with chocolate ganache and marshmallows.

This Mexican Cake is chocolatey, indulgent and full of character. The heat is restrained rather than fiery – enough to add warmth and depth while allowing the chocolate and cinnamon to remain the defining flavours.
